Hailey Mick Steps Up in the Aftermath of the Chattanooga Tornado

When an EF-3 tornado struck Chattanooga, Tennessee on Easter Sunday evening, our own Hailey Mick sprang into action to help her devastated community. This will come as no surprise to anyone who’s worked with Hailey. She brings passion and energy to helping our sales rep network solve their customers’ problems as our Engineering Applications and Technical Sales Manager. And she brought that same commitment to solving her neighbors’ immediate problems in the aftermath. “We’re proud of Hailey,” said Chris Rodgers, VP of Sales & Marketing. “She embodies IMI’s core values – integrity, excellence, innovation, collaboration – every day on the job, and now too, by stepping up to serve East Brainerd. New Webinar on the Use of Balancing Valves with Modulating Control Valves

Here's a one-hour, live webinar you won't want to miss! Learn about the use of Balancing Valves with Modulating Control Valves, and receive an attendance certificate to convert into PDH credit!

Mike Trantham, IMI Flow Design's Chief Engineer, will answer the questions engineers and design build contractors most frequently ask, focusing on balancing technologies, not specific products. You’ll be well-prepared to help your customers select the optimum hydronic balancing solution with responses to questions, such as:

  • How does the type of Balancing Valve technology impact Modulating Control Valve authority?
  • Do Automatic Flow Limiting Valves negatively affect Control Valve performance?
  • Can you use Control Valves alone to balance hydronic systems?
  • What's the effect on hydronic systems when pump speed is reduced on non-peak load days?

IMI Flow Design Announces Webinar Series

At ASHRAE 2020, the IMI Flow Design management and sales team re-committed to listen to our sales rep network, respond to their needs and then move forward with an action plan that delivers for our sales reps and their customers.

One such need our sales reps identified is more information about different balancing technologies and training on IMI Flow Design’s product line. In an April 2020 survey, 96% of our sales reps who participated expressed their support for webinars covering these topics.

So, we are proud to introduce the first three webinars in the series:

AutoFlow Automatic Balancing Valves 101

Wednesday, April 29, 11A CDT

Thursday, April 30, 1P CDT

All About Accusetter Manual Balancing Valves

Wednesday, May 6, 11A CDT

Thursday, May 7, 1P CDT

We’ve developed these webinars to address the benefits of these balancing technologies, describe the projects where they work best and answer your questions about IMI Flow Design’s products for each technology.

All are welcome: sales reps, consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, balancing contractors, facility managers, building owners or anyone interested in how these hydronic products work. Just contact Armando Reyes, Head of Sales, at Armando.Reyes@imi-hydronic.com for an invitation and details on how to access the webinar series.

And be sure to check back on our LinkedIn page for additional webinars added to the schedule.

While the Covid-19 global pandemic is impacting the business landscape, IMI Flow Design will continue to listen and help you adapt to meet your needs in this changing environment.
